This week, the students will have twenty words, but they will be homophones. Homophones are words that sound the same, but have different meanings. This is one of the most difficult spelling tests for the students. Not only, do they have to spell the words correctly, they have to know the definition in order to do that. Please help your child study these words at home and their meanings. Their spelling packet and cursive words are due on Friday. They are required to write their words in cursive, seven times each.
